Articles should consider one or more of the following questions:
* What are men’s perceptions on the status and roles of women and men in their societies? * What are men’s thoughts on “women’s empowerment”? * How can gender relations be transformed in the face of long-standing cultural beliefs and practices that discriminate against women? * What factors influence men’s willingness to accept social change that benefits women? * What groups of men should be targeted for lasting changes in gender relations? * What program strategies have proven to be successful in engaging men in women’s issues? What are explanations for failed programs?
Articles should be 2,000-2,500 words long. The deadline for submissions is October 15, 2006. An expanded Call for Papers and important submission guidelines are available at: http://www.womenforwomen.org/cfpapers.htm.
