The AIDS epidemic is spreading its arms
as time passes by; many don’t even know
they are infected while many have
already fallen prey to it. As of today,
about 0.5% of the total population
(around 40 million) is infected with
HIV/AIDS. Since 2003, a company by the
name of CytoDyn has devoted its time and
effort to find a cure for this deadly
disease. Recently, they have started
working in collaboration with the
Massachusetts General Hospital on their
immune-based therapy for AIDS, a drug

I appreciate the work FEMNET is doing for women but I have been burdened lately by the suffering I have witnessed among poor women in Chania, Thika Central Kenya especially after the collapse of the coffee industry where majority of women worked. Poverty has assumed a female face here.there are high numbers of un-reported rape cases, transactional sex is on the rise hence HIV/AIDS yet we do not have any organization doing advocacy work in the area.I think of doing it in my organization but have very limited resources.can femnet help or link us to some one who can.

i would like to share this issue on condom use with the entire HIV/AIDS family. My concern is over the group men and women who can not access condom in time,when they want to have sex! my dear brothers and sisters, i would like you out there to help me advocate for oral sex or masturbation so that they can escape the risks of sexing without prevention

A new ministry has been formed by an HIV+ man who found a more full filling life with God, and started this vision the lord showed him for his purpose and plan for the Kingdom of God. We are trying to get the world and the worlds churches around and even in our own community to look into guiding and helping in the fight against HIV/AIDS, and relflect on the issues at hand and getting out of the negative stigma about HIV/AIDS
